Aquatherapy Basic Training
Contents of the basic training are the complete basics of hydrotherapy in theory and practice. On the first day the theory and practice of the basic exercises are completed. On the second day, indications are trained in small groups as an example and in a small group, exercise programs for various indications are developed and practiced practically in the water. The focus is on exercise, motivation, breathing and depth stabilization during exercise. These are mainly combined exercises for multiple indications. A 30-minute standard program will be developed by training the skills: Flexibility, Coordination, Strength, Endurance and Relaxation. Safety is also included. Other focuses are walking and exercises in different positions, such as standing and lying.
The exercises are carried out with buoyancy aids and with additional small devices. There will be a walking and running school with motion analysis. It is practiced to motivate and monitor the patients in the best possible way, the load is subjectively assessed and the training intensity is changed. For this purpose, a video analysis and a test are carried out, which are then evaluated and made available to the customer. The participants will be equipped with a standardized exercise program on DVD. The participants receive a certificate Aquatherapy basic instructor. Instructor is Dr. Uwe Schlünz, Germany
